Assista.bot — your personal assistant in WhatsApp.
Assista.bot is a personal assistant that lives in WhatsApp — it sets reminders, keeps the lists you invent, and reads and updates your Google Calendar, all from a normal chat. No app to install and nothing new to learn: message it the way you'd message a person — by text or voice — and it does the thing.
It keeps your lists, sets reminders that actually arrive, and puts things on your calendar. Ask in English on Monday and Hebrew on Tuesday — it works the same either way.
What it does
There's no menu and no set of commands to memorise. You say what you want in your own words, and it works out what to do.
Lists you invent
Shopping, packing, or “house remaking”. Name a list anything, in either language — it stays one list, not two.
Reminders
“Remind me to call the garage tomorrow at ten.” It messages you when it's time.
Calendar
Create, check and cancel events on your own Google Calendar, without opening it.
Voice notes
Talk instead of typing. Hebrew, English, or a message that wanders between them.
Photos
Send a picture of an invitation or a receipt and it pulls out the event or the items.
Morning briefing
One short message each morning: the weather, what's on today, what's still open.
About calendar access
Connecting a calendar is optional — everything else works without it.
Why it asks for permission
To answer “what's on today?” and to include your schedule in the morning briefing, Assista.bot needs to read your Google Calendar. To act on “set a meeting with Dana tomorrow at 13:00”, it needs to create and delete events. That is the whole reason for the permission it requests.
Your calendar is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train any model. You can withdraw access at any time from your Google account permissions, which ends Assista.bot's access immediately. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is stored and for how long.

Access
Assista.bot is a small personal project, not a commercial product. It replies only to phone numbers that have been invited, and messages from anyone else are dropped before they're read.
Please don't rely on it for anything critical
Reminders travel through WhatsApp, and delivery depends on services outside our control. A reminder can arrive late, or not at all. It is not a medication reminder, not an emergency service, and not a substitute for anything you'd be harmed by losing. The Terms of Service say so properly.
